Lena is 43, she dreams of becoming a mother, and today is not just any day – it is the day for her to conceive. But she and her husband are headed to his friend’s birthday party, several hundred kilometers from the city. On the way, the couple gets into a fight over what’s really important on this day, and Lena is left alone, in the middle of the deserted winter roads of the Russian province.
